Called looking for a product I couldn’t find at big box store. Was told they usually stocke it and would order it; did just what they said they would do; went and picked it up today. Also bought an awesome hummingbird feeder and another product for ants (that I hadn’t seen anywhere else). LOVE supporting local business, all cash transaction. Young man who assisted me was very helpful.

Several months ago we purchased what were told were two Americana hens that were only a few weeks old. One ended up being a rooster which we understand does happen. However when we went and returned him today after trying to find a good home for him bc unfortunately we cannot have a rooster and I was not successful in placing him anywhere and we found out it wasn’t even an Americana 😂. First not a hen, second not even an Americana but I still was not upset bc these mistakes do happen. However, my children did not take returning him well as he has been part of our family for months. We wanted to purchase two more hens that were the same size as all of our other hens. The owner wanted to charge us $60 per hen. He would not even give us a discount at all considering we paid for what we were told was two Americana hens several months ago. I understand this place has been in business a long time but this is very very poor business etiquette. Charging a family for chickens, not even getting the right breed, not even the right sex, then when we try to continue doing business with him he doesn’t even offer a discount based on selling us the wrong breed and sex. We will never spend another penny there on anything. I’m all about supporting small family owned businesses but not when we spend our money and didn’t even get what we paid for. It really is a shame. His attitude was anything but nice and professional. He was like o well no refunds read the sign. I will be spending money where a business actually cares about their customers and how they do business.

I go in and place my order and they're out of 4 of the 5 things on my list. I pick up a bottle of fly spray and he charges me for two of them. Out of stock and really grouchy staff... Hard pass, right on down the road are two other feed stores with product and helpful friendly staff.
