Went to Mario’s International Spa in Aurora yesterday with my daughter, Jen. We had bought her The Cabin Spa Touch package for her birthday, and John bought me the same for our anniversary so we could go together. Had a great spa and massage until we get back to our lockers to find out that cash was stolen from my purse and Jen’s wallet!!!!! Obviously, Mario’s knows that there is a problem because they have a very large sign on the cash register at the front desk, “NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS”. Our lockers were assigned to each of us, the attendant said that they don’t work very well and that anyone could get into them. You’re instructed to set your personal 4 digit code, but she said usually doesn’t work anyway and don’t worry, she could get the door opened if our personal codes didn’t work. We both set a 4 digit code. The attendant just happened to be coming out of the locker room when I was finished and I mentioned that I was concerned about getting into my locker. She said, “oh, no problem, if you hit the number 0 eight times in a row and then hit the green button it will open”. We’ll she did my locker for me. I was getting into my purse so that I could tip my massage therapist. The very first thing that I noticed was my purse was zipped shut….I hardly EVER zip it! I had planned on the exact amounts to tip, $30 for my massage and $5 for the wait staff in the restaurant. I had the cash in the middle of my wallet and a $10 bill was missing. I immediately tell Jen that someone had been in my locker when she returns from her massage, she tries to open her locker with her 4 digit personal code and it doesn’t work. Tried more times and still doesn’t work and has to resort to the eight 0’s. It opened and she has a $20 bill missing from her wallet. Neither one of us tipped what we had originally planned and told the lady at the front desk that we had cash stolen. She explains that is highly unusual and I responded, you must know that you have a problem or you wouldn’t have a sign on your cash register. It ruined a good day for us!!! Jen told the front desk lady that she wanted to make a massage appointment every month, but not now after this had happened. Word to the wise…..leave all cash locked in your car!!!! I’m definitely worried about someone taking pictures of my credit cards and debit cards.

Terrible experience, I received a gift card last Mother’s Day for Mario’s International Spa. I recently booked my package to so that I could use my gift card. Unfortunately my car would not start on the morning of my appointment. I called to make them aware of my unfortunate situation and to see if I was able to reschedule for the near future. She told me that tech was already there and more than like I would lose my gift card spa package. She said they require 48hr notice. I told her this was a situation out of my control. I didn’t know 48 hrs in advance that my car would not start. She said she would call corporate and see what could be done. I never heard back so I called to follow up. I just found out that they zeroed out my entire gift card. So now I lose my entire gift card and experience. This situation was handled poorly!

The ambience at The Cabin ambience is wonderful, too bad the staff isn't. Who is doing the training? The staff can be rude, very rude, and almost as though they are doing you a favor. Asked for lemon with my water three times before I got it. Told waitress we were ready to order. The waitress rudely said "when I am done with what I am doing"! Clearing off your dishes telling you they are closing in a half an hour. Asking are you still drinking your water, I need to take the glass. Had to ask for bread. The steak prices are exorbitant, while Toscano steak prices were half the price. Too expensive for the ambience of Xmas lights and nothing else. The pasta with shrimp was blah and we had to ASK for parmesan cheese. Come on, man?!!

My husband surprised me and my long time best friend with the believe package. From the moment we walked in everyone was so nice and professional. We were taken to our room which was amazing. King size and jacuzzi tub! Soft clean robes and flip flops. Dinner was absolutely amazing. The pianist even played a song for me. The bartender was very nice along with all the waitresses. Everything was amazing. We spent the night and the next morning we have muffins and coffee and mimosas. Best coffee I had in my life. Our massages were amazing. All of the staff were great. Definitely coming back!

Call them directly they have wonderful packages and specials always available. I have been going there for 17 years.
Our system only keeps records of gift cards for five (5) years in accordance with Ohio State Law so unfortunately gift cards purchased more than five (5) years ago are no longer valid.

We went back in September. Had a package and the restaurant seemed busy all weekend, not sure how many people were at Inn. We generously tipped everyone during the weekend and to our suprise they added gratuity onto our final bill.
