I read visiting the orchid garden is by appt only..I called & left a message to please return my call to verify if I should set up an appt before heading out. No call back. I proceeded. Arrived at the Orchid Farm. Rang the front doorbell. A man opened the door..owner ? He said he didn't get my voicemail message. I told him I drove an 1.25 hrs ...and asked him if it was okay to view and likely purchase orchids. He said he had things to do at the moment and turned me away, saying to come back to the open house next Sat July 3, 2021... I understand it's by appt..But...wow ! He did not show a smidgeon of consideration after my long travel and him having missed my phone message where I had the courtesy to ask if I should still travel down to his farm today....I say then thanks but no thanks. I will look for another orchid grower.

Wonderful orchid farm! I called last minute on a Saturday and Doug quickly got me to me and said come on over. There are many orchids to look at. I ended up purchasing 4 which I am super excited about. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed! Thank you St. Pete’s Orchid Farm!!!!

I absolutely love St. Pete Orchid Farm, I visit monthly for their open house. They are so kind and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in to their paradise. Wonderful selection of orchids and bromeliads. There is something for everyone- to complex orchid hybrids to easy to care for sansevieras. They also offer great advice for care and maintenance for your orchids. Even if you are not a collector of orchids, please stop by just to observe the beauty of their hard work. This St. Pete gem is like stepping into another world.
