I think this company should be audited with the amount of money I have been paying them doesn’t add up, I lived at the same address for 10 years! And I have always paid these people, one month I sent them a check for $350 another month sent them $300 I got both checks back saying the account has been closed? Really? How I still have water! Then to top things off when my husband calls them to find out what’s going on she tells him he owes $688? For what? We have always paid and you sent our check back saying the account is closed? When my husband questioned the rude lady on the phone she says nothing she can do about it, I got on the phone and said this is there mistake not ours we don’t work for the water company you do it’s not like I have magic powers and delete everything we owe, lady said it wasn’t there mistake, listen lady do you hear yourself? Does your Brain work? Are you high? How is this our fault? I will gladly pay the money owed but I will not pay for someone’s mistake because they got lazy and didn’t want to do there job. I wish there were another water company other than this one! Do better MANATEE COUNTY!!!!!

If your rude and have the stankest attitude and need a job definitely work here. Everytime I call I always have to deal with terrible customer service and the rudest people. If you hate your job please quit.

If I could give this County 0 stars, I would. Manatee County is known to be racist towards African Americans. They only have a handful African Americans working within the organization. I attended a job fair that was a waste of my gas & time, as I work 3 jobs (my time is limited). I visited the Public Works , Parks & Natural Resources & Utilities tables to get more insight & information about the jobs I had applied for. The women I spoke with quickly shunned me stating they don’t know anything about it. But I should apply for a grounds maintenance worker... wow! I guess that’s the only type of work African Americans will be offered within this County, cutting grass. Why would Manatee County have employees from each department at this Hiring Expo if they have no intention on being fair & equal to all applicants. Or, if they have no clue about the positions that’s being advertised. I am disgusted with the UNWELCOMING response to my visit at the Hiring Expo 9/20/2018. Prior to speaking with these people at different department tables, there was a white woman in front of me requesting similar information as I & they went out of their way, ABOVE & BEYOND to give her insight & loads of information. I’m sure I’m not the only one whose taken notice, as I spoke with some of the African American employees of Manatee County who agreed there is bias when it comes to African Americans and Manatee County. Different strokes for different folks! I’m unitedly disgusted. Maybe a class action lawsuit would take care of this County wise issue. Anonymous,

You should find the lid to the tank, be able to look in to it. Or call and have the tank pumped out.

who can I contact to get a " Dead End" road sign for the entrance to our subdivision?

MCHAEL DICKSON | Aug 26, 2021
Zach C. | Aug 26, 2021

It would probably be an no outlet sign if it's an entrance to a subdivision that has no other way out. A dead end sign goes on a road that just ends with no turning around or streets that loop back around. Anyways you would contact Manatee County public works, ask for sign department. Or you can probably go to 311 or the Manatee County 311 app.
