Kevin Bruning Circuit Judge .. Oversees a domestic violence. Judge already issued verdict on record. Then defendant shows up after order was made, 20 minutes late to court. Then this BIASED JUDGE allows him to go on after case period. Proceeds to reverses decision, dismissed case as "no evidence of domestic violence." WTAF.. NO EVIDENCE AFTER Abusive party admits to hitting, calling it "play fighting" IN COURT UNDER OATH... When you hit someone, block them from leaving the abusive residence and they defend themselves..... it's not play fighting. BUT it's okay he told this worthless judge he apologized later.. even though he kept doing it... multiple times.... What kind of Judge does that, willful, biased abuse of power. All that was asked was a restraining order so abused victim can live without fear... WTAF

Update 20190205 In December, 2018, Judge Smith found in favor of developer Carlos Beruff against environmental groups contesting BCC’s 2017 decision to approve Beruff’s Aqua by the Bay development on Sarasota Bay. Judge Smith stated the public does not have the same “due process” as the parties. Conclusion? Some stake holders are more privileged than others. Posted ~2017 The Chief Judge and all but one of Florida’s 12th judicial circuit judges of Manatee County violated the judicial canon of impartiality wrt county commissioners’ efforts to repurpose the old jail house. Yet, with a developer’s proposal in hand; the county administrator, county commissioners and City of Bradenton failed to question the judges’ ethics and actions. Don’t expect justice here!
