Quite the hike, but worth feeling the very hot springs! Our lifted golf cart was only able to make it halfway down the bumpy dirt road before getting thwarted by a deep water crossing. We easily hiked the rest of the way. The water was like a hot bath. A few campers there but otherwise secluded. There is space to park an RV at the head of the trail and hike the whole way in

Great place to spend the day hiking, soaking in the springs & picnicking. This is a fabulous experience! Make sure you have a 4-wheeldrive vehicle as the roads are not maintained. The land owner has allowed the public to use the hot springs on his land, what a beautiful gift! The folks we encountered were so fun & friendly; I've never been anywhere that adults just come up to you and introduce themselves, it was very refreshing. The water is clear & doesn't smell like sulfur so that's nice too.

Really great hot springs, large soaking area in beautiful canyon. If you don’t have high clearance or 4wd, it’s easy 2 mile hike from pavement. Also a few places to pull out and park and decide to walk .7 mile in and also 1 mile in. Locals say it’s a party spot for teenagers so a couple beer cans around (why do the litterbugs ALWAYS drink like Natural Ice or Chelada Clamato Bud?!?) but it’s not trashed or anything. Bring small plastic grocery bag and clean up after the inconsiderate few.

10/10 recommend. Can't wait to visit again. Definitely worth taking the rough road to get there. I would not attempt the final dirt path road without 4x4 and high clearance or an ATV/buggy, but there was a crossover SUV half way thru the final stretch that decided to park it and walk the last mile. We came the day after a mild snowfall in mid-October, so we drove through some decent melt off puddles, deep ruts, and lots of up & down that would high center the a sedan. Also had to drive thru the creek twice. There's a decent pull off/parking area right off the county road (before the rough 2 mile dirt road to the spring). That area has a sign that politely explains that you're entering private property and lists a number to call, which you'd absolutely want to do before camping there (there were 2 or 3 boondockers there when we arrived). The spring is perfect sitting depth. Perfect soaking temp (cooler area was still warm, and the warmer side was like a hot, hot bath). No sulphur smell. Plenty of room for a few small groups. There were four other people when we arrived (not locals). Stayed for a couple hours and enjoyed the conversation. The scenery is beautiful and the drive was an adventure.

Maybe you could "fish", but that's all it would be is fishing...there would be no "catching".
