Long time supporters of Flying J’s here, we’ve had to have been to almost a hundred by now. This one failed to meet the expectations set by others across the country. Only two washers and two driers. And both driers are broken. One drier made an unrealistically and scary loud metal screaming sound and literally had exposed wires inside. Waited over an hour for a shower when there was only one other person ahead of us and we could tell the showers were open and ready to be cleaned, but no one was cleaning them so the next customer could use them. Gas is expensive but I guess that’s to be expected. No restaurant and instead a casino. The city of Wells and Elko county are gorgeous! We’re considering moving to the area we were so moved by the weather and natural beauty. I definitely recommend driving through town but maybe stay at the local Petro/Sinclair/TA or Loves. Probably the Loves over the nearby Petro just because the Petro was also not great. At the Petro we noticed no toilet paper in stalls, and someone had lost an eyelash and nail on the floor that did not get picked up at all while we were there and we stayed almost two days and nights. Like I said though that was the Petro nearby. So Loves it is lol. Staff here are friendly but clearly understaffed with poorly maintained amenitie and I get the vibe there’s a lack of support from management.

Trucker Life! Good place to stop by, stretch legs, take a break, get something to eat, use the restrooms or even take a shower. Plenty of truck parking but it gets full really quick especially towards the end of the day. They also have laundry facilities, driver's lounge and casino section for those who are feeling lucky. One thing is missing for me is the hot soup that some FlyingJ have.

Be ready to be left without showers, but despite the announcement, the application worked. Staff work quickly, the showers are clean, but the towels have a slightly odd smell.
