I absolutely love state parks. This one is now on my favorite list. The drive in is beautiful. The check in process is very simple and easy. The staff was very pleasant and the store is stocked well. Campsite host are very nice. Most of the sites are secluded and feel very private. There are others that allow for people traveling together and you can set up as if you are sharing. I love the amount of real estate you get at the state parks as well. The bathrooms are nicer than most state parks. But I believe we were in the loop with the updated showerhouse. The fire pits are a god size and i like the ODNR that are on them. Our site was wel shaded that after the rain our site was still dry. I also, like that they have a tornado shelter. There are several activities that are offered by the state. I would advise you and your family to partake in as much as possible. Several nice trails. The beach could use a little attention but it is still nice. The marina is nice and they have ice cream at the marina store. The children loved this and it is not expensive. Boat dock is nice as well on thecamp side.

Love Delaware State Park!!!!! Camping is awesome plenty of room great prices your not stacked on top of other campers!! I love it my absolute favorite place to camp!!! We have never had a problem with any rude staff or campers. Everyone stays to them self and its a very relaxed atmosphere!!! Always my first choice for camping and for fishing! ❤❤❤

This is a nice campground. Beginning of November, services we available. Layout is convenient, bathrooms we sufficient. I would go there again.

Convenience, convenience convenience. This is the best laid out State campground that we’ve been at so far. Having a shower house at the “hub” of each “wheel” of campsites with water at the the end of each “spoke” was great! The showers were a little wonky and starting to show age. The roomy campsites are spaced perfectly enough for privacy. The campground was full this weekend but we hardly noticed. We’ll be back!
