Session was great. Got to learn every detail and technique. Would highly recommend for a beginner. Instructor was very good, knowledgeable and was making sure everyone understands well. Great job.

The Lady’s Sure Shot class is great for women who are first timers. It gives you the confidence to hone in on your skills. I have taken three classes and I have improved in my accuracy and I feel more comfortable and confident with actually being in the range around firearms. The classes vary each month with class size, the first class I attend I think had 3 people which gives you more one on one time with the instructor. The second class there was 8 so they aren’t too large either if you feel Intimidated by large classes. Each month they cover a different subject like accuracy or safety. The very first class I took with Carrie (I hope I’m remembering her name correctly 😬) she switched it up because we were all newbies! I am kind of disappointed that the classes are changing. They are moving the class to Saturdays which will not always work for me with my work schedule. I’m sure the price will increase. The 8 or 9 am time slot is kind of early for a weekend, especially for a day of leisure. The Tuesday evening class was perfect! It was low key and easy to sit, listen and learn and of course practice on the range. It was perfect way to end your day. Hopefully, I will be able to attend the Saturday class! Ladies, if you’re on the fence about this class, try it! It will get you more comfortable with firearms and for $10 you can’t beat it!

I grew up shooting shotguns at dove shoots and such, but did not have much handgun experience and have always been intimidated to find a gun store/range to learn the basics. After my dog and I were attacked by a pit bull a couple of weeks ago, that was the straw that broke the camel's back and I was determined to find a quality local shop to purchase a handgun and take classes to educate myself. Boy did I find a great one at the Range USA location in Lewis Center! The staff was super friendly and answered all of my questions thoroughly. They are very welcoming to beginners and you can tell there's no judgement and they don't look down on you if haven't been shooting firearms your entire life. I also took the four hour Basic Handgun class and it was well worth the $$. The instructor, Pierce, was very thorough and kept the class engaged to ensure everyone was grasping the material. He's a professional in his craft and I enjoyed his teaching style as he drove the major points home (safety, grip, stance, etc.) while still able to have a sense of humor and make everyone laugh, which is a good thing as people can be quite nervous when handling a firearm for the first time. In summary, I highly recommend this location and they will be my go to gun shop/range going forward. I've been looking at the memberships available and will be joining this week!

Very empowering and informative. I love that the instructor took her time to make sure each lady felt comfortable with their firearm and we all left the range a little more confident than when we came in.

As long as you don't use armor piercing, tracer or incendiary BBs you should be fine.

Yes you can.

Is this place family friendly? My husband and I want to check out the range but we do not have childcare for our kids, 6&7 years old (who are super easy and well behaved).

Yes. There are windows that look into a section of the range that has a table and chairs.
