Kinda bummed the preschool story hour seems to have taken on an lgbt indoctrinated twist. The kiddos are there to enjoy books not be confused about their gender 😬. I hope the story tellers can stay in their lane in the future and not expose kids to ideology that is unnecessary to be introduced at the preschool age.

Just signed up here and its really nice for anyone honestly. Just remember if you sign in the computers you only have 30 minutes, so it's ok + you get to see the ocean....... a little bit like 3/5 of the ocean but its ok. i Definelty recomened anyone here!

This is one of my favorite libraries even though it's a smaller one because it's right next to the beach and it's a nice place to wait in the shade until you're ready to go to the beach. Also the people that work there are extremely nice and for a small library it's wonderfully organized. It's also one of only four Long Beach libraries that are open during the covid pandemic. The way that you do this is that you schedule something to be held at that library and then you call them and say you're ready to pick up the book. When you pick up the book, you have to pick it up between 10 and 1 and you have to know your last four digits of your library card or show them your library card. They hand you the books in a bag that's closed outside of the library so you don't have to go in and interact. The precautions they take are wonderful and everyone there is so nice. I highly recommend this library.

Great customer service! Any book found in the Long Beach Public Library system can be sent here for pick-up. Free wifi and computer access. Love the people of our Bay Shore Library!!
