I really love what they've done to this place. We are on the patio on a beautiful sunny California day. My daughter was in town to visit. She really loves the beach. The facelift of Manhattan plaza is awesome, beautiful, and a sight to see. So much more parking. Oh yeah, Island restaurant was great. Server, food, and atmosphere awesome.

Will not go again / Price = ~$8 happy hour food / Service = below average, inattentive / Speed = below average / cleanliness = average Ordered 3 happy hour foods: sliders, nachos, and cheese fries. All 3 are not recommended. The sliders are dry, cooked too well, and nothing unique even though they are sliders. The nachos are one of the worse cheese nachos I had. Applebee's even has better nachos. The cheese fries taste odd. They are also one of the poorer items compared to other chains. Although happy hour items are typically not better than the main menu, Island's happy hour menu is very poor. I am not planning for another visit ever following this experience. Only reason for a 2 star is this the location.

Place was very busy and loud. Despite that we were treated very well our server was on top of her game and also very friendly. Our drinks were being refilled without asking. The food came out fast and hot. Mom had the chicken teriyaki burger which was so big she had to cut it up. Dad had the endless tortilla soup. We shared a basket of parmesan garlic fries. We highly recommend Island's when you're in the area.

The food was delicious! I had a sunset passion drink very good. Our host was amazing and the atmosphere was awesome! We will definitely be back.
