I hate writing this review. We've been going to OTC since they opened. The last few times have not been great, but we gave it another shot thinking that maybe they were flukes. Today was likely our last visit. Overall, the food has declined in quality. I can understand this post-pandemic situation changes things up a bit. Costs are high, staff hard to come by. The fries were not just lower quality, but mushy and undercooked (and we were before the rush, so I wouldn't think this had to do with being behind). The other food was okay, but just barely. I'm willing to pay a premium, but if I'm going to pay I desire it to be at least on par with previous quality. Another table had a member whose food was messed up and all of the rest had nearly finished and it still hadn't arrived. We were also missing items (but they were less critical). The staff is pretty young and inexperienced. Willing to give that a pass for the most part. However, it didn't improved the already frustrating experience. I might have brought this up at the time, but it isn't any specific individuals fault and I didn't want to ruin the young servers evening. Though, I would have been hard pressed to even find them, given the lack of interaction. The bill was staggeringly high for what we got and we didn't get an itemized list after we hunted down someone to give us our bill. So we just paid and left, sad to see the decline of restaurant we loved so much. I think many could go here and be happy, but we know how it was in the first few years and I honestly couldn't recommend this any longer.

My wife and I went to Over The Counter for the first time. It is a really nice place, lots of seating, many TVs playing sports games and various other things. My wife had the Rueben and said it was amazing. The BLT was also great, and so was the Mac and cheese (we had already eaten a bit of our food before I thought to take a picture). Seems like they probably have crayons and paper available for kids because they had a whole wall covered with kids’ drawings. The service was great. They also had clean bathrooms. Would definitely come back.

Stopped by for dinner last week. I had only heard it was a good place for a sandwich. I was really surprised when we walked in the door and saw the layout. I was kind of expecting low key diner but it was a large open space with lots of seating and a full bar. There's a good selection of sandwiches to choose from. The patty melt with sweet potato fries was a great selection. The bill for the two of us was about $50 so it's a little on the pricier side for sandwiches but not to bad. My only complaint is that refills for our fountain sodas were not free, nor was that noted anywhere on the menu that I could see. Wewere charged for 4 full price sodas.

Friendly spot if your in the area but we had a mixed bag brunch experience. Went with my wife and she was able to finish eating her brunch entree before I even got mine, poor planning. Then mine wasn't prepared right and it went largely uneaten and pushed to the side but none of the staff seemed to care. Paid and left, wont be back. My wife did enjoy her entree so just stuck with the basic eggs and waffles. Should have had typical "Would you like more coffee" " How are things" it wasn't even a busy time.
