I paid $42 for two lamb dinners. The lamb was nothing but charred fat on bones. There was hardly any meat on the bones and what little meat there was was tuff as leather and unable to be chewed or cut with a steak knife. I called to get a refund but this place has no refund policy. The lamb they gave my family was fit to be scraps for a dog not a human being or family. This is just another African Scam business. Friendly faces and “welcomes” shared but they certainly rob this African American family of a substantial amount of money. I hate thieves.

Updates April 2022 it's still the best african restaurant in town. I always stop by when traveling through Columbus and even met another customer who is a truck driver who shared stopping by each time he travels through as well. The decor has been improved, the seating area is more inviting and could even hold a reception. The food is the bomb whether you are trying african food for the first time or as an African I'd recommend Best African restaurant in columbus. A must try for anyone living or traveling through OH. My favorite dish is the tchep any option with fish or lamb but EVERYTHING on the menu is good and a must try! Nice place to experience the Senegalese or West African culture. I always get the tchep there and have never been disappointed. Dine in option is available although I usualy order to go and there can be a wait time/ line before service. Tu peux gouter tous les tcheps des restaurants Africains a Columbus ya pas son 2. Merci maman

We are extremely disappointed. The DiBi chicken was dry & tough burnt straight off the grill. Chicken so dry had to add hot sauce to it, more bones than meat.. The DiBi lamb was flavorless. The only thing tasty was the pineapple ginger juice. The other reviewer that mentioned about a hispanic cook wasn't lying. Not saying anything is wrong with that but it's not authentic. Food is NOT senegalese

Unfortunately they are only located on the East Side of Columbus. But, it's so worth the drive.
