I am now and have always been extremely satisfied with Dr. Bovetas and the care he provides me. He is throughly invested in my well being. He spends time making sure that all my issues are properly addressed. How ever, in recent months the interaction I've had with his staff was quite unacceptable. I was not notified of cancelation of my appointment and when I arrived and asked them to tell the doctor that I was here and needed him to explain why I couldn't be seen, they just laughed and giggled and would not help. They kept insisting I should come back on a day that I had other commitments. They continued to be very rude. I filed a grievance with my insurance company and at my last visit they bent over backwards to makeup for their previous rudeness and incompetence.

Everythings is amazing EXCEPT their partnership with QUEST Diagnostic. I went for my annual wellness check when I choose for provider I made sure they have lab on site and during appointment, they state “yes they have lab onsite”. When I proceeded to quest diagnostics their process is to book for an appointment and categorize as walk in if you plan to do it same day. You are at the mercy of the closest time available without guarantee to have lab drawn. This should have made known when booking an appointment for doctor visit. This was so far longest wait on lab drawn Ive had. I hope there is a separate phlebotomist for patients of clinics in the building for “walk in.” Overall my first experience is good. Tip for first timers: if you know or think youll have lab tets, book your appointment in the quest diagnostics same day an hour after your clinic appointment this way your wait is shorter for lab test.

I just recently moved to the area and decided to find a primary care physician at Citrus Valley due to the proximity and also the great reviews I found here. Well, I’ve been with them for less than a month and I’m already planning on going somewhere else. To get things started, I had the doctor look into several different physical ailments I’d been suffering from. They ordered x-rays for all of my issues but rather than getting the results immediately, I had to wait as long as a week for one of them. One of the issues I’ve been suffering from for almost 2 years and expressed my concern in getting treatment ASAP as it is literally ruining my life because I can’t sleep. But here I am a month later still waiting on treatment. For the last 12 days now, I’ve been extremely sick without being able to eat or sleep. I got sick on a Friday which made things considerably harder on myself because they couldn’t see me until Monday, so I had to suffer all weekend long. On Monday I was able to get my tele-visit in which not only didn’t help, but made things worse because the doctor misdiagnosed me and prescribed me medicine that magnified my symptoms. I asked for antibiotics but was denied. On Wednesday I was admitted to the ER and was there all day. Luckily, they were able to give me the antibiotics that I needed to get me back on my feet. The rest of the week I could barely breathe and was still suffering but still couldn’t get assistance from my primary care physician. Luckily, the antibiotics kicked in and brought me back to life, but I’m still suffering and have been trying to talk to my doctor about what could actually be wrong with me since nobody has told me and I’m still experiencing symptoms. Obviously the office would be closed on Thanksgiving, but they also closed on Black Friday. What kind of a doctors office closes on Black Friday? I work at a tech company and we don’t get that day off, so I’m confused why they’re taking this day off when people are suffering. It is now Monday again and I’m still trying to get help because I can’t work. I had to be on hold for 40 minutes just to leave a voicemail because my doctors medical assistant isn’t an option in the automated system. This is by far the most I’ll I’ve ever been in my life, yet this is the first time I’ve felt I’ve been completely on my own with my recovery. As soon as I’m healthy again I’m finding a new doctor because this treatment is completely unacceptable.

First visit at Citrus Valley was an amazing experience. Dr. Bovetas is an excellent doctor. He listens to your needs and concerns. He takes the time to evaluate my health situation and offers the best options for my personal care. Dr Bovetas shows he cares. He put me at ease, he is personable and funny. Thank you Citrus Valley!!! The front line staff and nurses were excellent as well. Thank you so much 💕

Because they are working for $10 HMO co-pays and need to pay off their school debt.
