Great trails! Beautiful, shady, some paved and some hiking. Old woods with lots of native plants, hard wood trees, a river, history and handicap accessible

Gorgeous place. Rich history. You have an option of a paved trail with some primitive trail offshoots, or the other side of the river has a dedicated primitive hiking trail overlooking the river. Either option is beautiful and allows accessibility. Wonderful place to just hike and get away.

Nice spot for an easy hike, even off the paved path was mild but with good payoff in views & interesting features.

Alot of people on the walking trail. No dogs on some of the trails. One Trail dead ends at a swamp an there's no walk around. Very peaceful. Didn't see any picnic type area. Beautiful scenery.

Dogs are allowed on paved path but must be on a leash
I do not believe there is camping at this particular park. Dillon State Park is relatively close and they have campsites.
Sometimes there is an unpassable part if there is too much rain
I'm not sure about that but also there's a lot of trees so it might be kind of difficult to do it
You can launch right at the preserve across the street from the cabin
If you park in the main lot and walk down the drive towards the exit (main road) turn left out of the exit. Cross the bridge and the entrance will be just past the bridge on your left. That is the only true tunnel you will find. It is not that far of a walk
