The establishment was neat and clean. The servers were neat, clean and professional. The menu was large with a variation for everyone. The food was good. It was a joy to eat in a place that is so well organized. A great country secret that we will surely eat at again.

Joined my parents (with my husband and 2 sons) for lunch here today. I've never been but my Dad suggested it and what a great suggestion! Everything was stellar. I had the Montery chicken and it was delicious. My husband had country fried steak that I had a bite of that was excellent. We also got our sons some cookies and ourselves a slice of pie each to take home. Oreo cream and butterscotch meringue pies are tremendous. Great staff, great food. It's a 50 minute drive but we'll definitely be back (especially when the orchards open back up this summer!)

Yes it is still open and better than it use to be!

Prices are very reasonable. I don't think there's anything over $15 and portions are so generous some people split dinners. I've never paid more than $20 and that's taking homemade cookies with me. Breakfast/lunch prices are under $10. It's a deal!

Best food for miles! We drive from Newark 2-3 times a week. The Swiss Steak is excellent. They have a wide variety to choose from and several daily specials. Large portions, so go hungry. Service is as good as it gets! Desserts are plentiful and absolutely wonderful. Well worth the the drive!
