I use to enjoy this place when it was a ski resort. I also worked there when it was an operating ski resort, 20 yrs ago! Now, the place is still beautiful, nice buildings. Drive has some holes that could eat a tire, so drive slowly! I have not yet tried the food to the restaurant, but the tater tots seem popular and there's a good variety of tots to choose from. The lodge is a great music venue! The bar was adequately staffed and all the bartenders did a great job! My biggest disappointment is that the choices of drink are TERRIBLE unless you prefer a cocktail or cheap beer. They only have one beer on tap. They only have Barefoot wine in a can!?! Which is just lazy, because there are soooooo many wonderful regional wineries AND breweries that they could be getting stock from. And Moscow Mule in a can? Such a simple drink to make from scratch! If they upped their drink game, this venue/bar would be fire! So please hire a new bar manager or retrain! The musical talent so far has been great! I really look forward to the Smokey Run festival and hope they have the major bar kinks worked out by then!

My first experience here at the resort. We stayed 2 days and wished we had planned to stay longer because there is so much to do we barely had time to see all the games and adventures. We fished, wakeboarded, tubed down the mountain (everyone's favorite), bungee trampoline, and several other things as well. The food was great. The staff was so friendly and that made it all that much better. My kids loved it and we will plan to come back.

My family and I just spent a weekend at this spectacular resort. We enjoyed fishing, rock wall climbing, bungee trampolines and especially riding the tubes down the mountain. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The staff could not have been more friendly and willing to please. We are already planning our next trip back.
