We stayed in Pine Lane Chalet in September and have already booked again for April. The cabin is clean and tidy with many amenities. We loved relaxing on the comfortable furniture on the front porch while our kids were in the hot tub. The setting is private and beautiful yet close to a main road to go to attractions. The owner is easy to work with and communicates well. We are excited for our return trip.

I planned a weekend away for my daughters and myself for the first time since before covid-19. We all needed a break and to rest and recharge. This cabin did NOT disappoint. We stayed at whispering pines and absolutely loved it. The cabin itself is super cute and cozy. We loved watching movies with the fireplace running. The outside space was super enjoyable, peaceful and relaxing. The newly built gazebo was the perfect spot to drink my coffee in the morning and have a family meal. The owner was very quick to respond with any questions or requests. He even successfully helped me on my quest for dry firewood in the area, after it had been pouring rain the whole previous day. The kitchen is very well equipped and should cover most cooking needs. There are plenty of towels for showering and beach towels for the hot tub. The whole cabin was very well equipped. If you're looking for a spot to get away on the side of the mountain in the middle of the woods, this is a premium choice. I highly recommend! Thank you, Randy!!!!!

I just planned this short weekend getaway here at Mohican Pines and it honestly was better than I ever expected. I stayed with several friends at the Pine Lane Chalet and it was so homey and comfortable. When we first arrived everything was freshly cleaned and they gave us specific instructions on how to check out and to use the hot tub. Everything was beautiful inside! The full kitchen was so convenient to cook meals each day, they provided plenty of dishes and silverware, the living room was very spacious and cozy, with a very comfortable reclining couch, the tv already had Netflix provided and the fireplace in the living room was such a nice touch to put on each evening. There was an adorable cat named Mittens that lived at our particular cabin and he was super friendly and didn’t mind my 2 golden retrievers either. My pups absolutely loved the cabin and had so much room to play and run around outside. The deck was BEAUTIFUL and the cabin was placed perfectly with the sunrise and sunset and the sun never shined into the windows, perfect natural and open lighting. The bathrooms were very clean and loved the modern designs and touches made throughout the entire cabin. The new washer and dryer was great after we would spend time using the hot tub and they even provided the detergent. And the hot tub was a perfect way to end each night there! Absolutely loved it and the owner of the cabin was kind enough to reach out to me to let us know that they changed out the water in the tub for us. We all had such an amazing weekend here and were sad to leave honestly. It was a perfect escape from the craziness going on right now. My favorite touch is that they provided a guest book and there were SO many memories written down from all the other guests that stayed at the cabin and it was such a cute touch to end our weekend there. When I originally searched this place I thought it was a cute cabin, but the hospitality that they provided for me was by far anything I’ve received at any hotel. Plus the cabin is 10 minutes from the Pleasant Hill Lake and we decided to take the cabins recommendations from their website and we rented a boat there for just a couple hours and it was the highlight of our weekend! So much fun. We absolutely cannot wait to come back, and we’re planning our next trip very soon again! THANK YOU MOHICAN PINES!

As pretty as the pictures are, we were even MORE impressed when we pulled into Timber Ridge Lodge. What a great combination of luxury and rustic touches—in all the right places. The outdoor spaces are so well done! The covered porch with table and chairs was beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful and we kept discovering new ‘views’ we loved. Each bedroom is BEAUTIFUL and classy with comfortable beds, rich furniture and linens, and nice privacy blinds. The bathrooms are up to date, nice and CLEAN with plenty of towels. The kitchen is GORGEOUS and well-stocked —we had fun cooking there—and loved every minute of sitting at the huge farmhouse tables with a view of the woods. The property owner is very professional , responsive to questions, and has obviously worked hard to make Timber Ridge such a welcome retreat. Mohican State Park is about 20 min away , as are many nice towns for shopping, so there is plenty to do for everyone. Highly recommend a visit!! John & Trish
