This place is great!! Our second time staying here with our large extended family. We had the best time. Beds are actually decently comfy, food on premises is very good, staff is super friendly and helpful and the surrounding area is so beautiful. The only thing I will say that needs attention....the outdoor pool. All 3 days it was cloudy, full of leaves and bugs. I see the girls cleaning it before it opens but whatever they are using is not doing a great job at all. Also, since there are 2 lifeguards who never seem to be really paying attention(on their phones or talking to each other), you would think one of them could go around every couple hours and skim the junk out of the pool...? My dad even offered to do it but they said no thanks and still never did anything. So, I think this might need some more attention to detail. Otherwise, everything was great and we enjoyed our stay.

This place is such a treasure. We like to drive down from Mansfield for dinner and cocktails and sit out by the lake. Lately though the menu has been greatly reduced and frankly not as good. And for some reason you can smell sewer when you walk in the lobby. Please bring this magical place back to its previous standards so we can all enjoy it again with consistency.

Was pleasantly surprised. The lodge was a little dated, but when maintained with a view updates. The room was spacious and clean. The view was wonderful. The dining room was super convenient. We would definitely return.

The staff at this lodge was great but the rooms were dirty. I looked like there hasn't been a vaccum run in about a month throughout the whole lodge. My kid found some cheerios on the floor in my room. We called about getting some extra towels and toilet paper and then had to call again since we didn't get them in 9 hours. I would definitely not stay here again just because of the room feeling so dirty!
