The first time I came was in December when my family and I wanted to learn Archery, in the Bowhunters Unlimited archery range located in this park. We had an incredible instructor, Hameed, who taught us how to handle a bow, shoot, and be safe on the range. Our lesson was a very reasonable price, and after that all our visits to the range were free! The community here is very friendly, and I highly recommend checking this place out.

Moderate Hiking trail. If you go left, you will start on a steep trail and end up hiking downhill headed to the the reservoir. If you go right, you will have the view of the reservoir first then moderate uphill and end up steep downhill. There are a lot of trails in this park and we're looking forward to go back and try other trails as well.

We hiked in the Coyote Ridge Trail which was moderate. After ~2 miles you’d reach Maisie’s peak which is the highest point in Fremont Older Preserve. The trail is moderate.

Multiple choices for the trails here. We saw two parking lots, one is bigger, the other is smaller as we parked at the location of “Picnic Area Parking Lot”. There are two trails next to this parking lot. I don’t recommended the yellow route instead of blue one as we chose for less shade in such hot whether. There is a creek next to this lot for kids playing, as well as the restroom. But it seemed the water is not quite clean, but very cool. We didn’t see deer, lizard, or other creatures along this route. Better try other trails next time!

Officially, no. It's a reservoir, not just any lake. But I've seen lots of dogs in the water.
Saw few people fishing there on that particular day. Not sure about the permit.
Yes
Depends, I know Zeus is allowed, but Odin was banned a few years back along with a majority of Nordic gods
Its post that there is no swimming allowed in the reservoir
Leash is required. Saw several dogs that were not on leash but they were also well trained.
There are other trals up Stevens Canyon Road that you can park on the side of the road and hike
