Many trail choices, some parts nicer than others. Very friendly staff, great place for dogs, plenty of spots to throw away trash and restrooms. Biggest downfall was lack of trees in some spots and lack of signs, didn’t know where i was half the time.

Lovely, short trail along the river. Be aware that it can get busy although the parking lot is large. Restrooms at the parking lot. There is a paved trail, but most walk along the river which requires some light rock scrambling. The river is beautiful, and further up if you do clamber the rocks you'll see some lovely, albeit small waterfalls.

Nice hiking area, but little shade. There were a handful of good spots for picnics so bring a blanket to sit on. Waterfalls, too!

Can’t describe the beauty of the east bay hills when it is this lush green after heavy rains! Scenic hikes, the sound of the creeks, cattle grazing along the hills and not to miss the waterfalls at the rightly named ‘Little Yosemite’ area. Would recommend to reach early in the morning to get parking spots closer to the trails.

Which fires? 2018? This wasn't affected as much the fires were in residential areas I would say about 5 miles in land.
Never
Picnic tables yes, bbq pits i don't know. May depend on fire danger.
And
Not sure but there are picnic sites and barbecue pits available on a first-come, first served basis
Yes, but you have to have, or buy permit there for fishing. I love the rainbow trot fish.
That question I don't know but they do have serval parking arears there's I think 3-4 different arears to park. I haven't had no problem parking or finding one. I think you won't have any issues parking just go to the back parking area I have always found parking. If you get a chance take a a drive on calaveres Blvd of Geary road it's such beautiful drive.
There not paved some sand and gravel but not sure about being muddy never seen it muddy. Down along the creek is sand and rock not sure about trail itself. I have been there after it's rain and never came across muddy path and the creek is so nice after it rains it's very relaxing. My favorite place to walk.
