Beautiful waterfall and great short easy hike. When I went there the bridge was out so I had to park around 0.5 miles up the street. However it still worth it.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park is one of the lesser known national parks. It only takes about 30 minutes to drive through it from north to south. There are definitely some cool things to see. You definitely want to visit the visitor center first to get an idea of what to do. Honestly it's more like a state park to us, it is pretty though. The highlights are the beaver marsh, the ledge and the waterfall.

Beautiful national park well worth a visit. We spent 3.5 days hiking the park. My favorite hikes were the ledges / ice cave trail and the hike to Brandywine falls. I also very much enjoyed the path through the Beaver Marsh. We saw beavers, green and blue herons, numerous other birds, and snapping turtles. I recommend getting to the ledges trail early as it does fill up. At the northeast border of the park and just outside it are the Bridal Veil Falls and Great Falls. Both are very much worth seeing.

This park has so many nice things to see! I loved the waterfall, the covered bridge, and the marshes. Can't wait to come back and ride the Train.

Questions & Answers

Is it worth taking the train?

It is a nice ride through the park. Honestly its better in the fall when the trees are changing. But they do have activities such as beer and wine tastings which help make it fun and its a great way to get back to akron if you ride your bike across the park to cleveland.
