Ocean Beach Pier

Cool walk and experience. Tons of quaint homes and cottages along the street leading up to the pier entrance. It was not overly crowded when we went so it was a nice long stroll to get to the end and back. Some people were fishing but not paying too much attention to passersby so be careful not to walk past when they are casting their fishing lines out. Mid way down the pier there are a couple small shops and a cafe. Great views of the surfers, and a good way to experience the beach without getting in the sand or water.

We had breakfast on the pier....bomb Breakfast Burritos! Great little hole in the wall. 50 years of business there. Such a lovely view ! Great walk and worth it.

Most amazing time in my life 💗🧬💗 First time in San Diego and sent it in Ocean beach community! Super Happy I did! I definitely will be back. Street vendors have such amazing talent. I LOVE my wand that the vendor handmade and selling for very fair prices! Plus kitty therapy also!

Pictures of the pier were much better than reality. Too many homeless roaming the pier on the top and below. Even, seen one homeless cleaning his crack pipe. Walking on the boardwalk were vendors and vans loaded with unknowns. I didn't feel very safe there. I ended up at the doggy beachwith my family where people were, well different with their pets . I won't regret this trip, but just be careful when you go with children. We thought to make a half day from this trip but ended up only making it an 1hr stay.
