This is the only "major" grocery store in my area and today 5/12/2022 I have decided I'm never going to shop there again. Here's why, not that any of them care: 1) The produce is often half way to spoiled when you purchase it. Over the last 6 years when I was really at a loss for options I've braved this location only to wish I hadn't bothered. I've bought meats, cheeses, fruits and vegetables from this place and every single time the food is spoiled in a day or two. Even when I put it into the fridge immediately once I get home. 2) The variety of canned foods at this location is also lacking for a basic market. It's truly exclusionary of the non-Hispanic public which I would understand if the demographic in the area wasn't an even mix. We have people of all types in this area. My street alone is home to Asian, African (not to be confused with African-American), African-American as well as Hispanic peoples. 3) The other two are just general displeasures but the biggest reason I will never go back to that store is because of how disrespectful the staff are. I'll never forget the time years ago when I was followed around the store and then accused of stealing a box of candy I walked in the store with. Thank goodness I had my receipt from Walgreens. Y'all hardly even sell American candy. Did y'all think I was about to steal it in front of all the people in line and the cashier? I let it go though. I was an urban youth wearing a backpack that they didn't see often. I could see why they would target me. Is it fair? No, but it's life. *shrug* That stuff even happens to me in my work clothes at Target. But today? Now, I get it, you don't make enough to give a care. I'm not expecting you to smile and dance and bend over backwards. However to be a cashier and ask the next customer in line to translate for you because you THINK I don't speak Spanish is the epitome of rude. I am a minority in this country too and I have never felt so "othered" than in that moment. I understood what she said just fine. The problem was she was mumbling while talking to me but suddenly could project when talking to someone she perceived as Hispanic. Even If you thought I didn't speak Spanish and you knew what the problem was why couldn't you walk back there or call someone over to walk back to the aisle to change the item out? The entire experience was humiliating and uncalled for but I suppose that's what I get for trying to support the businesses in my neighborhood. People work too hard to go spend what little they have and feel bad about it for subpar goods. I do hope they improve or leave so something better has a CHANCE to take it's place. Either way I'd rather pay more at Vons or WholeFoods.

Fresher produce now, and I'm not sure if it's because it was 8am or what but there weren't any gnats, even on the purple onions. I'll start coming back for sure!

El Super is an Awesome place to get Authentic Mercado Based items. This location is actually much fancier than my hometown of El Paso. I just love the fresh aromas when they make Chicharrones, Fresh Tortillas or anything that is made really fresh.

Very unorganized, always blocking the walkways by putting merchandise (employees take to long in doing their jobs). Need more cashiers on busy days.
