I took my 5 year old daughter to the pediatric urgent care because she was extremely sick. We were told that the wait would an hour and a half and that they’d call when ready. After getting the call, we return to find the front door locked. Luckily someone was walking out and let us in. An employee named John (the one with tattooed sleeves) at the front desk looked at us, then looked over to someone else and said “where is security. Can we get security? They came in when it was locked.” He didn’t ask us if we had an appointment. He didn’t ask us to wait somewhere. He just called security like we were criminals. It disgusts me to see how they treat a family with a sick child.

They said 2 hours we have been here for 2 hours and 20 minutes and now they said another 45 minutes...its pretty empty and I have seen people come in after us and leave before I used to really love Kaiser but they are not like they used to be I understand that they are all exhausted from all the Covid-19 issues but please be courteous of others time as well I have a family to take care of as well.

If I could give 0 star, I would. We were treated poorly by a lady (she wore a pink headwrap that night) from the lab. She was uncivil to the highest point. We were shocked with her attitude. Unbelievable. How can kaiser permanente hired someone like her? Would never go back to this location ever and would not recommend!

The hours from the pictures say lab services are open every day. But you can always call and double check.

The picture of the hours says it's open Monday to Friday 730 AM to 6 PM.

It works okay, I prefer to call in.
I know they prefer an appt. But will see drop-in patients from 9am to 9pm. It is just hard to staff UC appropriately if they have no idea what is coming in. It is better to give them a head's up for courtesy and in all fairness to find out for yourself how long before you are seen.
