Absolutely love Barons! So clean and well-stocked, greens are fresh lots of vegan and vegetarian options, full salad bar, great dry pasta section, environmentally conscious cleaning supplies. It's a perfect spot for household shopping of all kinds. The staff are very helpful and kind!

Baron's has so many unusual items to choose from and to offer new products I've never seen in other stores. They have a small but very good bakery area, fresh and healthy-looking produce section of organic and non-organic plus a lot of herbs , they offer up to five or six different soups a day very healthy I think, a glorious section of all types of pizzas and crust, a huge display of ice creams and candies and lots of liquor for every palate. I love Barons and wish there was one in Hillcrest this one is in North Park.

Not only does Barons have hard to find items, it's super clean and the staff are knowledgable ... but the produce prices are regularly lower than VONS ... how's THAT for a surprise. Look at these photos ... how often is a store display so handsome you want to photograph it?

There is an Under the Stored Parking Lot Accessible on Bancroft st. It has a Handicapped Accessible Elevator inside the Garage that takes you Directly into Barons Mrkt. There is a smaller parking lot that you can access on 32nd. St. And also from University Ave. Both Parking Lots are Free of Charge For Shoppers! Enjoy Your Experience at Barons Market
I know they have a reduced capacity and plexiglass between the cashier and the customer. I don't know if anything else is in place.
Only service dogs are allowed inside Baron's market.
Fresh and easy closed down about 3-4 years ago. Barron's took over some time later.
