I came into this public storage location on Main St in SD on a Sunday morning looking for a miracle. Rachel was my lifesaver on this Sunday morning, she was the definition of going the extra mile, going above and beyond, making a difference in a stranger's life. I had recently rented a unit in Long Beach using the online e-rental method because I am not near Long Beach and my brother was going to get my items into storage for me. It became a big problem because the unit was wrongfully described online and therefore it was too small, I called LB public storage to try and upgrade to a larger unit. The person who stated was the manager on site on Saturday May 21st was very not willing to help me out unless I made the trip out there. I am a healthcare worker having gotten off my last 12 hour shift (4 in a row) and now I had to make a long commute to LB to fix this situation simply because LB public storage was not willing to work with me virtually. I thought I'd give it a last try and walked into the public storage on Main st in San Diego and Rachel was my angel that exhausted Sunday morning. Rachel called LB and worked with them, although still a little short, but she saved me a trip out there. I am forever grateful for people like Rachel that make a difference in peoples lives. Thank you!!

Downsized from a 10x20 to a 5x9 since I have a one car garage at my apartment. Not quite enough storage space to fit my motorcycle and car in one spot. I can't say enough about Raul at this location. He really went above and beyond to find a smaller unit sized to fit my needs. I've been there over a year. Any outdoor storage parking with vehicles runs the risk of being vandalized. It happens at every place I've been to with outdoor parking. If you want less risk of property damage you should try and find indoor parking if possible.

UPDATED REVIEW: after discussing my discontent with the property manager, I was able to get my issue resolved from Rob who is the district manager and Raul the store manager about my experience at public storage. I explain my situation and was able to get credit off my next bill. And was assured that this problem won’t happen again. As I am here for the next couple of months I will continue to observe and see how everything goes! I have used public storage before, but this location is unprofessional with no one in customer office during business hours. I am trying to access my unit which i paid $460 just for nobody to waste my time. After my contract is up I will no longer be bringing my business over here
