I'm no EBT expert, but I researched the Restaurant Meals Program in Riverside County. If an EBT cardholder is a senior, disabled or homeless their qualifying card can access meal benefits. The restaurant needs to apply and be approved to participate in the program. I couldn't find any restaurants complaining about the program, but there may be downsides. Don't know. If not it would make a ton of sense. I just spent the past couple of weeks every day for about eight hours a day to be with my wife at the hospital. I ate a lot of meals at the Mt. Rubidoux Bistro at RCH. I don't have EBT benefits, but if I did I'm in the demographic for the Restaurant Meals Program. Being able to use it while being there for a loved one would seem to align with the RCH mission. I think it's a good idea.

You have the possibility to get a private room after delivery if there aren't many women delivering, but they always pair you up with a woman who's about to be discharged so you have some sort of privacy. My labor and delivery was smooth, fast and amazing but I had the head nurse and the best OBGYN(Dr. Darcy Bryan). You have to talk to your doctor before labor if you want delayed cord cutting or skin to skin before clean up, but rch policy is skin to skin and breastfeeding. It's more important to talk to your doctor before your due date about what you want and the nurses when you get to the hospital. Also don't over burden the nurses with a birth plan, they aren't going to read it and it'll just get tossed out the window.

Go down to Riverside Social Services office and apply for Medi-cal. Then you dont ever need to pay anything at all. Its great. You can also apply online. I have private insurance anthem blue cross blue shield through my mothers work (only until 26 in August) but I have and have had medi-cal as my secondary insurance!! They pay all my co-pays and anything at all those "Fancy insurances" dont pay. Which for me is $2600 a year. Yay medi-cal. Obama come back to us!!!!! #BRINGBAMABACK

Hmm pneumonia was good enough to go. My heart was pounding found out i wasnt getting enough oxygen to my heart all because of pneumonia. Hospital still sucks care was good food well i lost 20lbs.

I dont think they do it when they are that old. Usually only babies. Plus there is no need for it, my sons dr told me it is only cosmetic, unless they are getting infections or having some kind of problem.

Talk to you obgyn and be firm about it. I had an epidural headache and wish I would have got help quicker ..I suffered for a long time. But epidurals do come with post pain but severe pain is a sign from your body to you to tell medical care ...whatever you do don't go back to this hospital as they did harm my mother. Praying you pain resides ...seek medical care ASAP! You should be ok though. Remember breastfeeding is not super safe with pain pills only tylenol. Don't let nurses and drs lie about that. Its better to be in pain and breastfeeding than to not breastfeed in my opinion in finally almost over the side effects of the epidural my baby is almost 4 mos
