Why an amazing and beautiful place, one of my favorite places to be now, so many things to do, look, watch, activities and beautiful beach, even sea lions, pelicans, birds and beautiful hike down the cove and beach, up the cove where all restaurants, shopping, cafes and anything you can think of. Highly recommend this area.

This place is absolutely amazing. You can see seals and sea lions wild and they swim with you.... they are so close that almost you can touch those . You can see also pelican. All the coast is awesome You can walk around and see the environment change with beautiful beach and nice cliff... Nice wild beach . Suffers .... I like this place a lot if you pass through here you must stop

One of the most beautiful beaches California has to offer. You'll encounter so much wild life here. From seals , rabbits , crabs and so much more. Beach is clean and well maintained. San Deigo has obviously taken pride in keeping it safe for wild life while maintaining the surroundings from human trash. Wish more California beaches would take San Diego's lead in cleaning and maintaining their beaches.

This is a great spot to watch the wildlife (and the people watching the wildlife). You can see the preserve from above or in the water swimming, diving or kayaking. There are sea lions galore, pelicans and the ubiquitous sea gulls plus seals.

I always fill up my own hot showers in old juice or tea bottles =) beware that La Jolla is known for lack of parking and has meter maids constantly running through giving tickets
No..these are wild animals that cannot be hand fed..Many get too close which could lead to injuries to both the person and the wildlife.
Open beach, no fees, but for parking u have to pay n park, there is one underground parking near by,it costs approx 7-10 $,no time limit
Lots of stairs.
There are parking meters on streets, but some streets have free parking. It really depends how far away from the beach you choose to park. The free parking spots get taken quickly & weekend parking can be a crowded mess at times.
Youve never seen a dog.... Well that could either mean you were there when a dog happened to not be there or because dogs are just not allowed.. Hmmm.. Ill jist have to ask my question again with a different profile so i can get a response, hopefully not from a unsure person..
Snorkel or dive at the coves. Go boogie up north.
