Food was fantastic and portions are big. Our food was piping hot and cooked fresh. The Mongolian beef was pure perfection, orange chicken was crunchy and not soggy nuggets, egg drop soup was hot and so, so good, and Kung Pao chicken was delicious and had a great mix of fresh veggies and meat. Overall very happy with this place and can't wait to order again. Cost was a little higher than I'd expect for a takeout place usually, but considering inflation has hit everything, I wasn't too shocked.

I’ve been here a few times, there is normally a nice man answering the phones and taking the orders. On Thursday a lady answered the phone to take my order then hung up in my face before she confirmed anything. I had to call back to see if the order had been recorded but she told me it was so busy inside of the restaurant that she hung up after she heard my order. When I got to the restaurant I asked her about the shrimp so I could add it to my order but she ignored questions, ignored me trying to order the shrimp and called the next person in line. She was extremely rude in person and on the phone so I made the decision to no longer support the business. The lady refused to refund my money although I didn’t take the food. I snapped the picture attached to this review of her throwing the food she refused to refund me for in the trash.

Ordered online, picked up in half hour. Kung Pao tofu is sour and salty which I LOVE, orange soy chicken was also good but their soy chicken is not like any other - rolled tofu sheets. So we will probably stick with regular tofu.

Having lived in Mainland China I shouldn't be rating this joint so generously but we have to compare apples to apples here and when matched up with other local Chinese food restaurants, City Dragon does rate a bit better than average (taking Panda Express as the measure of "average"). We usually get take out from here and the food is prepared quickly and is still piping hot by the time we eat it. My favorite item is the eggplants and tofu and my kids love the Chow Mein with mixed meats, which is their specialty. One thing everyone should be aware of is that they cook with quite a lot of oil so have that in mind with your calorie count.

One of the better restaurants I have visited in terms of covid awareness and compliance. Employees are all masked and there is plexiglass at each of the register areas. I don't think it gets much better than their efforts.
