On Friday, July 1, 2022, I went to the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Brookings/Harbor Oregon to pick up my wife's prescription. She takes a generic opiod. The clerk/pharmasist assistant told me that my insurance would not pay for it and to come back on Sunday, July 3rd to pick it up. I was initially upset because this pharmacy has been a M-F operation so, I thought that I would have to wait until July 5th to pick it up. I was informed and pleasantly surprised to learn that they were now open 7 days a week. So, I came back today, Sunday, July 3rd to pick up her prescription. The Pharmasist told me that they would have to order it and, since Monday is a holiday the soonest they could order it would be Tuesday, July 5th and that the orders take a day to arrive, etc. It seems to me that if you direct someone to come in on a specific day, you then have an obligation to have the product available. Clearly that is not the standard/common practice/common courtesy this Rite Aid Pharmacy meets. This pharmacy went through some difficult times a while back which led me to transfer our prescriptions to Fred Meyer. I recently tried to switch back. Bad idea. The original prescription was for 60 pills. The pharmacy only had 40 so I had our doctor write a prescription for the 40 on hand and another for 20 to be picked up later. After only being able to get 40, I should have run out the door. No more will I deal with Rite Aid incompetence. Good luck if you continue to use them.

This used to be a great store . No Longer . I called in my mom's scripts as she was out of her medication . I went to the store 3 separate times during their normal hours and they were closed. Really ? closed during normal business hours and my 85 year old mom has to do without her blood pressure medicine and no one cared enough to transfer her script as you knew that your pharmacy would be closed for days??? I called in my refills and when i arrived to pick them up , they were too busy to fill as it was 4 minutes to closing but I could return the next day which I had no problem doing so and when I did they were closed during normal business hours. A month later , I called in 3 refills on 11/26 to be picked up on 11/29 as I am out of my medication and I am pending an upcoming surgery . Once again they were closed !! I called at 2 pm and the message said their hours were from 9 to 6 and the pharmacy is now closed and will be closed again tomorrow . So I have to go without medication for 3 more days and that rx cannot be transferred if the pharmacy is closed . Great customer service Rite Aid !! Now I understand why Julianna , your main Pharmacist quit . As soon as I can , I will be transferring ALL of my business and my Mom's business to another pharmacy that actually cares .

This place is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I wish 0 stars or minus stars was even an option. Don't every go there for pharmacy needs. They turned me away twice from my Covid shot appointment. The first time I had scheduled my appointment online, showed up and it was completely closed. We thought that maybe they would open for the appointment and when a worker was walking by, she didn't bother to ask us if we needed help. We had to stop her and she told us to come back during the week and they would honor the appointment. When I went back, they tried to tell me that no one was there to give it and then they ended up asking for me to wait til close and they provided it. I was then scheduled for my follow up shot and when I went it, I was turned away that they were not staffed. I had to take time off work, travel 1/2 hour one way, wit for her to hem haw around and finally decide, sorry can't do it and then go back to work. When I called the following day and asked if they were staffed enough, the woman on the phone told me I had to schedule an appointment online. I told her that doesn't work because last time I did that I was turned away because of staffing, online doesn't know there staffing. While I was explaining, she actually told me to SHUT UP. I asked her "did you really just tell me to shut up" and she proudly said "Yes I did".

The best Rite Aid customer service we’ve ever experienced! We live on the road and go to Rite Aid frequently across Oregon and California for their Amazon Hub services. I appreciate that Amazon makes things so much harder, and I’m used to long lines. But the staff at this Rite Aid location is just so patient and friendly. They are always in good moods and don’t get frazzled by managing multiple customers. Each time we are there we walk out impressed.
