Staff are all friendly and helpful if/when needed. My reason for a 3 star review and not a 5star is facility maintenance. Examples such as the back room (lifting area) doesn’t have adequate cooling. They try to make up for it with fans blowing air in from the main floor but it’s always humid and never really cool. Another example is one of the lights on the main floor in the middle of the ellipticals and treadmills has been flickering for over a year. Also the only disinfectant station is up near the front entrance in the form of spray bottles with paper towels. Where I used to live near a CHUZE Fitness for example they had a small disinfectant stations at almost every trash can through out the gym in the form of disinfectant wipes that were easily used so everyone used them. Here at this Esporta with the only station being in the front pretty much no one uses it and gets off of the equipment and leaves it sweaty for the next user.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Signed up for personal training for 12 months. First couple months seemed to be going smoothly. Nightmare began when my appointments gets cancelled without any courteous notification. Restroom is way inside the gym, in the locker rooms; lacking other restroom. Tried to cancel personal training membership and I keep getting the run around. It's a big disappointment for such a large professional organization.

I'm never going to come back to this gym after the experience I had today. I have Active&Fit membership through my AAA which allows me to go to most gyms since I travel a lot. I use it for LA Fitness, Fitness 19, etc. I'm currently in the area and decided to check out Esporta since it's covered under my plan. The man who I encountered was not helpful. He absolutely had no idea what my membership was. 3 employees were also in the front and 1 tried to help but she was super overwhelmed while the other 2 employees were chatting. After a while the guy said what's your health insurance and I said I don't have insurance this plan is under my AAA. He looked really confused and a few minutes later he said in a condescending tone "so you don't know your health insurance?" Again I responded I have Active&Fit under AAA. He said I'm not active and I have to come back after the weekend when I call my membership. I showed him my active status online and he wouldn't honor it. Since I was ready to work out I inquired about the free pass that's advertised all over their website and he said it's $20. I left. I walked in Gold's gym down the street and they pulled up my Active&Fit membership no problem. They even showed me their computer screen to show my membership is active and I can go anywhere. They said don't go back to Esporta and stay with them cause they're more awesome. They are! If you want to pay a monthly fee for a bad gym and rude service go to Esporta. There is a reason why they have bad ratings. If you want your money's worth, go anywhere else!
