We where on a motorcycle trip to Orgeon when we came across this magnificent ranch. We were so impressed we spent two night's. It is such a special place, from the famous sourdough starter used with there homade bread and pancakes to the impressive bar and wine list. The rooms are perfect for that ranch feel. The spa looked amazing all though I did not have time to utilize it. This was definitely a highlight of our trip.

Silvies is indeed a special place with guest experience and customer service at the forefront. The setting of the links and retreat/ranch is unique with a truly eastern Oregon vibe with deer, and a particular buck who eats and lounges on the premises. Rooms are exceptional with native american style, quality bed, linens and great size. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and genuinely helpful and enjoyable to chat with. Molly Cole is true gem and Silvies should be extremely grateful to have her front of house. It was my birthday weekend and upon arrival Molly had arranged a bottle of champagne in my room and a complimentary drink at the bar. Other names worth mentioning are Matthew - IT & maintenance, Georgina the masseuse, gives the BEST MASSAGES - EVER! bartender Jeff, Colby and the golf manager of "The Hideout", which is the pro shop, were lovely, friendly and welcoming. These staff members wear several hats throughout a long workday and continue to genuinely smile until the end. Check-in staff will be serving drinks/dinner hours after working reservations and check-ins. These people work hard and deserve our appreciation & gratitude in spades! The course looked fantastic, although we departed early due to wildfire smoke that weekend. The goats are so sweet and love the attention! The ranch has a strong sustainable philosophy - water conservation and less dependency on beef/ranching/cattle, etc.- SUPER IMPRESSIVE & IMPORTANT - ESPECIALLY IN EASTERN OR. The food could use improvement. It's ok for families with young kids - buffet style, BBQ, grilled meat, but could use some refining and a bit more attention to detail and less sweet BBQ sauce, but it was fine for the weekend. Maybe an herb and veg garden could help them with healthier options and fresh tasting food. Overall, I'll be back next year with lots of family members to enjoy golf, horse riding, bike riding, hiking and soaking in the big eastern OR sky and stars :) xoxo Thank you, Silvies!

Went for girls spa day and left in excruciating pain from the worst massage I have ever had. The massage therapist clearly didn't listen to my body or me when I said that hurt. Typically you walk away feeling amazing, I on the other hand left in tears. It hurt so bad to walk and I couldn't straighten my back and still am having issues a month later. The building and amenities were about all that were nice but the price I paid for a massage to leave me still in pain isn't worth it. I would not recommend massages for locals or non locals ever. I have tried to reach someone but no response via email and I get transferred until I reach someone's voice-mail and yet no return phone call. Super disappointed.

Silvies hosted a group of 40 people for my sister's wedding reception recently and managed to provide all of us with exceptional service and a delicious dining experience! The general manager, Sean, was so helpful and responsive while planning the event. Once we arrived, the resort was beautiful in the winter and staff brought us around in side-by-sides so we could experience the scenery without getting cold and muddy. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and the chef helpfully accommodated various dietary restrictions. My sister and her husband, as well as several members of the wedding party, also spent the night at the resort and enjoyed the spacious suites, private hot tubs, and scenic views. Overall a wonderful experience - thanks Silvies for making my sister's wedding so special!
