Depending on whose walking around taking orders, we had a guy who had no patience, we would add to order and would delete what was already there, took a while to straighten it all out

Went into the La Verne library a few days after it reopened from the covid closure. I had placed some books on hold and it was very easy to get them. The library itself still has that classic library feel to it.

I love the La Verne Public Library. The staff is very friendly and helpful. While the collection is small, the library is connected to the LA County system and I can usually get what I'm looking for by doing a search and having a book or DVD sent from another library. Your good service is much appreciated. Thank you.

If they are in good condition you can

Do you accept books about Vietnam history. They've never been used.

Bob, I certainly believe LaVerne Library would be happy to accept any appropriate books. The history and truth behind the Vietnam culture and horror during the 1960's and beyond is so very important in history. Call the Library and ask to speak with a "collections" specialist or someone that has knowledge about archival materials. I feel they would be very happy to accept books relating to such a controversial time in history. Good luck.
