Upon our arrival there was a lot of confusion as they informed my partner that our reservation had been cancelled. I had made the reservation for my Birthday camping trip. We showed up on time and they sent my partner around to 3 different campsites before they told him our reservation had been cancelled. I showed up shortly after to confirm that neither of us had cancelled. They were very nice and helpful in trying to resolve this situation but it did take nearly 2 hours of us waiting in the 100 degree heat before we were finally able to get into a sight. Unfortunately the sight was not ideal and right next to the check in office. I was very disappointed but relieved to at least get a spot for us and the kids. I hope they get there staff better trained when it comes to reservations and cancellations for future visitors.

This is my favorite place to bring people when they're here from out of town or for my grandchildren and I have to go spend a hot afternoon at. We live in Springfield and it's only half hour away. It's always nice and cool even when it's a hundred degrees in town. It's so nice and clean. Has picnic tables, a playground, bathrooms, and the roped area for swimming is shallow pretty far out. Pretty safe for toddlers and Elementary School age children.

I wanted peace. I didn't get it. I flew in from out of state to camp here for Oregon Country Fair. Leaf blowing commences around 8:30am with no consideration for tents yet poison oak grows under many of the trees. Police patrolled several times over my visit. The grounds are otherwise gorgeous with working showers and toilets. Since the change of management in 'A' loop the rental bikes, the ice cream, and the horseshoes disappeared. On the fence about ever returning.

Campsite was nice and fairly private. Bathrooms and showers weren’t bad. Pretty strict on parking, as many campgrounds are but it gets annoying when they come by and we already have our permits displayed and then still ask. Downside is that there isn’t good access to the lake from the campground, you need a vehicle to drive to the day use area, which isn’t far but if you have your rv and didn’t bring a separate vehicle, you can’t really do much at the water. Just a heads up to be prepared. Also, very strict on the 12 pm checkout, on a non crowded Monday. We had three spots for four nights and one spot was still occupied at 12:20 (my brother in law was in it and I wasn’t sure where he went). I got a phone call from the park, which is fine, I knew we were supposed to be out, but she was so rude they way she talked to me. She could have politely reminded me, especially since we had just spent so much time and money there and were respectful, quiet, and clean the whole time. She said someone had to check in. I later drove by the spot and no one was in it, campground was still mostly empty, and no reservation sign was posted that anyone was going to be in that spot for the night. Just a little unnecessary to be so rude to me. We would come back again but probably not any time soon unless everything else is filled up.

Yes, but extra cars will have to pay for overnight parking, plus if you have more visitors they have to have a day pass.
It's $35. This is for a tent site or an RV site.. they're hiking bike sites are even $30. You just go to their website and put in the information as if you're going to stay and then it tells you how much things will cost.
