Overpriced at $30 a night with no wifi or tv reception. Drop box for late check in overstuffed since arrival on 5/17. No maintenance present felt except for cleaning of common area. Lots of long term residents and dog feces make park look run down. Excessive vehicles parked on borders of park make it hard to leave. Very windy and desert area. Only plus is walking distance to BX, commissary and gas station shopette.

I have never stayed here, just drove by to check out. Two years ago looked like bathrooms had not been cleaned in months. Stopped off this year and it was at least clean. But it's sure not worth $40 bucks. Especially since it was just an over night stay on my way to AZ.

It wasn't to bad, I was there around October of last year. I was a tent camper stayed for two weeks. Check in wasn't to bad, I called before hand and they gave me directions on how to get there. Paid my I think it was $12 a night, found a spot and set up camp. Everything was close as far as Starbucks and the PX, the gym which I use to run to was about 1 mile one way. Showers and laundry room was decent and clean. They did have a tv but their satellite was not working. Now comes the negative, I did notice every evening around 8 that their were people parked in the tent spots sleeping in their car. I counted 5 people, didnt think nothing of it until one of the rv campers started ranting at me about you people like to do this and that and that's when I put two and two together and noticed that their might be a homelessness problem here. I noticed it right before my two weeks was up. California has a high rate of homelessness and I wasnt suprised. So needless to say I was uncomfortable for a while until I left. Other than that, wasnt to bad!

Nice camp. Instructions for after hour payments confusing and no envelopes provided. Sites could be tight if the campground was full, but fortunately it was be half empty when we pulled in. Exchange with food court, commissary, and gas be station with quicky Mart all within easy walking distance.

(661) 275-CAMP or Edwards Rec Center. Two thirds of the camp is blocked off. Be prepared to dry camp in the overflow parking lot.
