I was on the phone with the person I was meeting who already had a spot when a man on a golf cart pulled up next to me and stood right next to my window. I rolled down the window and the man started yelling at me saying I was supposed to stop and wait to be helped & told me twice "that's why there's a sign!" He was so close that his hand was in my window as he was yelling at me. I was in such shock that I didn't really say much of anything.. thankfully my fiancé was with me and was able to speak and tell him not to talk to me that way. I'm pretty sure the guy was drunk..certainly smelled that way. I can't believe that an owner who treats visitors this way is still in business.

We pulled into the RV park to see if they had services. Some guy pulled in a golf cart within maybe 3 seconds and immediately said, “you need to leave now!” We had our 3 yr old grandchild who had been in a car seat for 3 hrs. He had jumped out and went over to some rusted out playground equipment and swing that nobody was around. We asked if it would be ok if he stretched his legs for a couple minutes. He said, “absolutely not!” I understand this is private property but so is every other gas station ect. This guy was so rude and unprofessional and there was not one person around. It was unreal. Major golf cart rules with an iron fist.

If your idea of an RV park includes lots of mature trees, lots of green grass, a river running past, large sites, and nice and helpful people, this just might be the place for you. There is a train that runs nearby which disturbed us a little the first night, but we don't even notice it by the second night. There are several hiking trails nearby, ranging from 1 to over 10 miles. A Safeway is located about 10 minutes away in Deer Lodge and if you need to do a lot of shopping, Helena is 45 minutes away and includes a Costco and every other major retailer you might need.

There is a train that comes through a few times a day. Whether it's an issue or not is in the eyes of the beholder. I stayed in the front of the park, wasn't an issue for me. The tracks run parallel to the back of the park.
