Cal Herbold's Nursery is a decent place to get plants. They have been here for years and the staff is usually pleasant to work with. They typically don't have a large selection of vegetable plants, but there is usually something you could find to take home from here.

Some of the worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time. I waited on line in a hot closed room with no employee wearing a mask for 30 minutes with just 2 customers in front of me. They are highly understaffed and write every single order by hand on paper which takes about 10 minutes per customer. Not one other employee in sight anywhere. When I finally got to the counter no one had a clue about prices or cared to show me the $1,000 worth of products and trees I wanted to purchase. He told me to go outside and look for myself. After I came back literally 1 minute later he told me to get back on line which at that point was 10 people deep. Even though he already had my credit card already and was supposed to write up the order while I looked at the trees. If you want to be treated with disrespect and wait on line for 1 hour to buy anything with very little if any customer service this is the place for you. Would not go back or recommend.

Angel Mist

This little place is a real nice place to get your plants and landscaping supplies. They only sell what's suited to the desert. You can buy rocks and gravel too, and sod. Nice, knowledgeable staff, and reasonable prices.
