I have only had AWESOME experiences at hoodoo. The instructors have had all 3 of my kids skiing and snowboarding successfully within an hour or two. The staff is like a big family that work diligently to make it a great experience. The lift attendants are safe and super friendly. If you're thinking about going, just DO it!!! You won't regret it.

What a great place for our kids to learn how to ski. Sam was such a great instructor. Lessons on Saturday - the resort was a little busy, but the staff was super friendly and positive. We came back Sunday and it was amazing, less crowded and lots of runs. The kids who learned how to ski the day before were doing black diamonds at the end of the day. Everything from tickets, rentals and lessons such a great price. I love that places like this still exist.

Friendly little locals ski resort. Best during the week, 50 Thursdays are always a great deal. They get great snow!

May not be the tallest, the largest or fastest mountain around. But it makes up for all of that with heart. The vibe is 100% locals and those who love what they do and love to be at the mountain.

T-Mobile works fine at lodge and up to top of hill. Good service
I was told many years ago that the hoodoo we know today was actually called heyrick and the mountain next to it with the Rock cliffs was called hoodoo.... They later changed the names around for better sales because no one wants to ski a mountain called heyrick ski area!!
