I go to urgent care in Fairfield CA and fill out the form. I start coughing and even though I’m not the next person I’m ushered in the back quickly. Then I’m asked a bunch of rapid fire and borderline rude questions. The nurse taking my vitals was abrupt and cut me off several times. She asked if I had had a fever and I said yes low grade. She took my temp and showed it to me and said “See, no fever.” I then tried to explain that I had taken medication but she cut me off. She asked if my medication list was correct and I said no I’m usually seen at the VA so I go to open my phone to give her a more accurate list and she just moved on to another question. Didn’t even want to correct my meds. She then took my blood pressure and made several jerking motions with my arm telling me to relax my arm. She put the blood pressure cuff so high on my arm it bruised the inside of my arm. I’m then ushered into a room and given a phone. She said the doctor will call you on this. So I wait. 20 min later a doctor calls me and asks about my symptom changes from the prior week when I was in. I said they were worse and my voice is almost gone. He then asks me a question that I believe would explain the odd behavior towards me. He asked if I had been vaccinated for Covid, because my vaccinations weren’t on file there. I said yes then he came in to the room. I was then treated differently. Additionally I was tested for Covid the week prior in that very same clinic and it was negative. Now I know Covid is a huge issue in a healthcare environment and pretty much the world. But, if the front staff had taken the time to ask me for my vaccination card none of the panic or rude behavior would have been necessary. I’m seen at my local Veterans Affairs Clinic as my primary provider. Sutter is pretty much my only authorized urgent care. So please do better.

Wanted to thank Dr. Vaughn, Robert, as well as the nursing, and imaging staff for their expedient and courteous care. I unfortunately hurt my ankle while on vacation nearby but was able to seek help very quickly at this facility.

I would give this place no stars if I could, its a money making scam, I was sick last summer with a summer cold (which I thought was COVID) provided my medical insurance and attended the virtual appointment and later that week the urgent care. During the urgent care visit I saw Dr. Z (who some others complained about) the care was rushed and unprofessional in and out they gave me a strep throat test and it was negative. At the end of last year they finally bill me for $270.00 for a throat swab. Now, one year later I am getting a bill or $75.00 for an online visit for the doctor's time, this is despite the fact that I provided my medical insurance multiple times to them. The American medical system is one big scam, between the poor service and not accepting my insurance is why I will never go back to Sutter again.

It’s hard to believe that this urgent care has such low ratings. I can tell you being a new patient at their facility, they treated me with great care, listen to my needs, and were very thorough with my examination. Dr Sotak, and medical assistant Robert we’re outstanding throughout the process. The 1 hr and 10 minute one way drive was worth it. Thank you, you’ve earned a new patient.

Not that I know you need to get a hold of your primary care physician for something like that.
Yes
I dont know really. I will try to give the benefit that the no. of hrs of wait over here is still shorter than the ave. wait in the ED for non emergency cases.
