The restaurant was clean, and the employees were friendly. I went for a cheese enchilada because I only eat seafood; I’m a pescatarian. Unfortunately, the cheese enchiladas I will not purchase them again. The beans and rice were delicious! And their prices are great. I did see some delicious-looking food coming out of the kitchen.

Tiny chicken quesadilla and a watery margarita from a cheap-looking small restaurant on a quiet residential street. Inexpensive, alright. Possibly authentic. But def no reason for a high rating. Good service, I give them that. Feels like you stepped into the kitchen of your Mexican friend. No bar.

They've been here since 1950 they're a very welcoming, rustic, traditional little Mexican restaurant with original recipes since the day they opened! You gotta check it out! 🙂

Sammy, the owner, is also co-owner of the Green Parrot Villa in Santa ana. Both places are amazing. My wife and I were married at the green parrot in 2016 and we had our food tasting at la Chiquita. Its all amazing and they give you a TON of food. The photo i included is the green chili pork burrito! But I have also had the pleasure of stuffing my face full of the tostadas, carnitas tacos, and other items. Never been disappointed!

Yes we always ordered piles of tacos, beans and rice for home parties, always great! Get lots of their hot sauce!
Excellent!

Not certain. When I picked up the order that I had called in, nobody was allowed to dine in. Everyone who entered wore masks. The staff wore masks. Hope that helps.
