Service was great but don't get the pie it was a sliver not like the old days. Also asked for a pie shake and server said they hate making those so I said it shouldn't be on the menu and just got my sliver of pie

I like to give every place five stars because I’m a nice guy. But this Shari’s is just not a five-star establishment. Positives? Our server was pretty attentive although after two coffee refills we were forgotten. The coffee was decent for a diner. The sourdough bread was awesome. Super thick slices. The best. The pies looked good. But the place has a weird smell when you walk in. The building is sorta falling apart, as you can see from the seat pictures. And the prices aren’t exactly cheap. I mean, they’re sorta standard these days but they should be cheaper based on the sub-standard overall experience.

Shari's has the best apple pie I ever tried. I always get non sugar add, heated up with vanilla Icecream on top. I feel bad when I eat something super sugary, so I am not sure if their normal pies are so sweet or if I am the intolerant one.
