I got switched over to Alta Amed & I honestly hate it. It’s hard to communicate or even reach a doctor when in need. They have you take your calls through an automative system and send you to what ever doctor is available. I personally prefer the one on one relationship with your physician whom knows your medical history and is understanding to your needs. I had gotten Covid earlier in the month and reached out to Alta Med for an over the phone appointment. I’m currently expecting and the doctor that assisted me didn’t even look at my file. She continued to prescribe me all these medicines and then I asked if the medicines she is prescribing me is safe to take during my pregnancy she stated and I quote “ oh your pregnant? They didn’t tell me that.” I have Been trying to get ahold of my obgyn and Can’t even get ahold of him. Left message, went through their call system where they make a note and still haven’t heard anything back. I’m definitely looking to get out of Alta med and would not suggest them to anyone. Their system is ridiculous and they definitely need to make some serious changes. 0/10

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST DOCTOR IVE EVER SEEN!!!! I made an appointment with Dr Newton a week ago and I was scheduled for 9am today. However, just when I was wondering why I never received any confirmation email or message for my appointment today, they called my at 8:30am, JUST 30 MINUTES RIGHT BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT, and told me that they had to cancel it because Dr Newton had an "emergency". What kind of emergency is that so you have to cancel your patients' appointment? Also the nurse who called me couldn’t even speak English. I couldn’t even understand what she was saying. She was just repeating “hello hello” on the phone. Can you please find someone who can actually speak English to call your patients lol?

Short wait times and decent service, but they are too high tech for my taste. The doctor sits down at a computer while they try to diagnose you. I understand that doctors don't know everything, but they shouldn't need a computer every time. Its ridiculous the amount of information they collect for a simple wellness check up. When I changed obstetricians, they refused to send my paperwork to my new provider and claimed I never went to them. I ended up having to do blood work all over again just to be able to switch doctors.
