My wife and I went here looking for a companion for our other dog Poncho, not sure if he would take to a puppy? It took sometime for Poncho to warm up to Roxy(formerly Gamba). They are now two peas in a pod. Clean facility, good experience with the stuff on hand that day(05/29/2022)

After having a really stressful and frustrating experience at OHS, we decided to try this place. We knew exactly which dog we wanted to visit with after researching their site. When we got there, there was one family ahead of us looking at the same dog so they told us to go enjoy the day and they’d update us in a few hours. We went to a nearby park and got the call that family didn’t work out. As soon as our girl walked, we knew she was going home with us. The staff was extremely pleasant to work with and answered all of our questions about her history. Could not have had a better experience. Highly recommend this place (just be sure to familiarize yourself with their process beforehand and their current dogs.)

I love this place! Please adopt and support this no kill shelter! After trying for months to find a puppy, there was a group of rescued puppies at the shelter. They are only open a few days a week and you have to get there quite early (if there is a puppy you are trying to adopt) and make an appointment to meet the dog. They only allow 2-3 meetings a day for each dog. Which I think is excellent! So thoughtful for the dog! I recommend this shelter to people looking for dogs as well as looking for volunteer opportunities! We've had Rocket for almost a year and are so grateful to Family Dogs New Life!

This is such an amazing shelter! They do so much good for the dogs they care for while they wait for their forever homes! We came to drop off some donations today, and one of the attendants stayed to wait for us to get there & let us meet the sweetest boy named Ringo.

Is it still available?? Sorry to hear about your diagnosis
I would suggest checking their website to see what Volunteer Oppurtunites are avalible and if teens can. Some places require parental/guardianship approval first. You can always call or email them for more info
I have a 4 year old Chihuahua/min pin i can no longer take care of. Looking for a good home to give him to. He is potty pad trained and I can no longer walk him or pay to have him walked. I've had him since he was 6 weeks old. PM me mm
I think they do, depending on the dog. The website says you need to have your landlord be available for approval when they try to reach them
You can check their website for Volunteer Oppurtunites, there is a decent array of options. and when in doubt you can call or email them.
(First my name is lisa too.) And second i hope your dogs find a good home.
Please get in touch with the facility directly. The feedback on Google is just feedback. It is not the staff
Contact the shelter directly....
It's based on the age of the dog. We paid $300 for our Monroe, who was about 14 weeks when he came home with us.
If you look on the website it will show you what animals they have for adoption
