Great bar on SE Foster with a large covered sidewalk patio. Food was good. I got the Kailua pork plate to help work through the previous night's drinks. That did the job. Had a tall whisky and coke. Didn't ask for a tall, but he poured without asking and I wasn't mad at it. Charming, energetic bartender (pronouns: dude/bro) was a plus. Some sipper was at the bar talking loud to him when I walked up to order food. Dude/Bro immediately walked to the POS screen, looked me in the eye and said "shoot" loud enough to drown out Mr Sipper. Solid. While Bar Carlo was packed with a brunch crowd at 1:45, we walked right up to Da'Hui and sat where we liked. Maybe 1/4 full. Will definitely check out in the evening to see what it's like. Full on tiki/Hawaiian vibe. 🤙 I do recommend.

Tasty grinds and chill vibe. The covered outdoor patio is spacious and great for people watching as locals walk by. The indoor area is full-on tiki vibe! The seating areas inside are separated by hanging dividers for Covid protection. I would not say the Kalua is the “best in town” but it’s tasty. The Shoyu chicken is good too. The Mac salad that comes with those dishes tastes store bought. I was disappoint. They do have potato mac salad on the menu as a side so I was sad that my dish came with a flavorless mac (no potato). The drinks are served tall without asking. The bartender on shift was very fun & helpful with a very island vibe.

Food kinda sucks honestly. Very flavorless and way overpriced. You can get this yakisoba for $3-5 cheaper at any, literally any teriyaki place and will taste better. Yakisoba was bland and the pulled pork, although had flavor, lacked sauces or seasoning for the white rice accompanying the pork. Just pretty disappointed. If you have a few drinks maybe the food is ok. In my opinion, I think a grocery store deli tastes better, that’s how bad it is. Pass on the food. Haven’t tried the drinks. Atmosphere is well, bar like so nothing bad yet nothing impressive, Hawaiian style obviously.

Such a great spot to grab some awesome grub and simple fun tiki drinks! The decor is pretty amazing and staff were very helpful and friendly. Spam Musubi was bomb. My other friends had teriyaki burger, teriyaki chicken, khalua pork and orange chicken, everyone loved it!

They do easy eggs and toast, you know. Possibly a side salad if that is more along what you looking at.
