Best dog walking patch in Northern CA, tons of shade, well maintained. Great scenary and hiking.

They have an off leash dog symbol for the hiking trails that makes it very easy to stay safe and in compliance

We hiked the dawn false trail and then up to the fire road to loop back. The waterfall was pretty unimpressive with just a little bit of water, but the landscape is gorgeous with beautiful old trees and views up on the fire road.

I have a friend with a walking disability. Are there smooth pats to make her work easier? Hopefully with very shallow grades?

The main fire road has pretty shallow grades is wide and made of gravel and dirt. Some parts have loose shale type gravel, but only a couple small sections. It is not Walker or wheelchair friendly.
