I was eating here in 1975 with other local restaurant staff after we closed our restaurant at 9pm, cleaning up, then we headed to this Hop Li restaurant. They used to be open late till midnight. I don’t remember 47 years ago this restaurant was named Hop Li but the food was good, especially the hot & sour soup and Kung Pao chicken. I didn’t believe the same chef was still in the kitchen. I went back here with my family 3 weeks ago and the food still tastes great! Yesterday we came again for dinner and I liked it. The parking across the street is limited when they have a lot of customers.

I've been coming here with family since I was a kid. I remembered this place a year ago and have since gone for dine in with my husband and friends. The food is great, no complaints. The service is absolutely terrible. There is one man in particular who is extremely rude and doesn't seem to care. This is very disappointing especially when dining with my husband an daughter. We were sat and then ignored. Then after I waved someone down to ask to order and for waters the rude person just walked away. I don't understand why the service is consistently bad. There is no need to be arrogant and annoyed at customers.

My family has been dining here since I was a kid. The food has always been consistent and flavorful. Definitely my first choice in Chinatown. If I lived closer, I’d probably be here every week. Even during the pandemic, I’d order for pickup when I could.

Food is super delicious, I never tried crispy chow mein but they sure did not disappoint! The food is a little on the pricey side but the portions are big we can always eat 4-7 of us out of one plate of each item. Staff is cool, and the food comes out in a good time and hot! They serve the soup for you, and they have big family tables that have a spinning glass in the center for easier reach.

Yes.
Look on their website or phone them. The restaurant would actually know the correct answer.
There are vegetable dishes (e.g. chinese broccoli) there but if you're a vegan concerned about food preparation being contaminated by animal products, i.e., fat, then restaurants in Chinatown may not be the best place for you.
Agreed, However the place is very nice and is a well suited Chinese food Restaurant
