Decided to take the boys to Arbor Dog Park in Seal Beach. It's slightly off the beaten path but worth an extra minute. It's a peaceful location, just wind blown trees and the chirping of birds here. A golf course is adjacent to park as well as several other open areas in the small park. There are both large and small dog areas. Kobi has an alpha complex so he lost it big time in large dog area before we moved to small dog area where he got his act together. Kenji, his older brother, is always a charming and friendly gentleman so gets along with everyone at this quaint little dog park.

It's alright. More maintenance needs to be done to keep the grounds looking nice. Park goers need to do a better job picking up after their dogs and themselves. There's no excuse to not clean up after your dog or throw out your trash.

I am dog sitting my friends MalChiPoo, and I was looking for a dog park near by and found this park. It was early in the morning and there was few Dogs and Owners, most dogs were big I was a bit afraid at first (my first time being at a Dog Park lol) but I was really pleased with everything! The only thing I was not sure or happy with is that there was a water hose I thought I can use but I was not able to turn it on so I had to used my personal emergency nice white towel other than that I had a good experience here.

My dog and I really enjoy this park. It is really big and has plenty of grass and shade. There are two water fountains for the large dogs on opposite sides of the fenced area. We usually visit mid-morning when it's not too busy but we are sure to run into some friends. Dogs are friendly and playful, and the owners are for the most part attentive and respectful. This park is frequented by dog daycare/ walking services, so don't be surprised when you see a pack of 8 dogs run in at the same time. Also be prepared for seeing small dogs in the large dog area. If you have a large dog with a high prey drive or aggression towards small dogs I would use caution.

Park is closed on Thursday morning for maintenance. It does not close during the rain but wear boots because some areas can get muddy. The park always closes at dusk but remains unlocked. The Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base security will sometimes request that you leave if it gets dark.
