I was around the yacht club, and it's a good spot to people watch.. I haven't been inside the building, but maybe next time!? But sitting along the shoreline, watching boats go in and out was relaxing, for a minute!! But that's because there's so many people walking through the area!! I mean it's right on the promenade that goes by PacBell park..

Members can bring guests, and the club itself is lively, with terrific members and well-appointed facilities. The views from inside, as well as outside from the expansive second level deck are just as good daytime or evenings.

This Area is Privately Leased to Tenants. Please check with the Harbor Master of South Beach Harbor for Details if you would like to make an arrangement into a Space for your Boat on up to Yacht. Parking Space is might be Extra, if you have a Vehicle. I know it does Require a Parking Permit for the Entire Year and or a Visitor's Parking Pass for the amount of Days.

Prime SF location under the shadow of the Giants stadium!! Lots of boat slots and I'm sure a long waiting list. Beautiful club house with expansive deck overlooking the Bay Bridge. Beautiful day and night

Questions & Answers

I'm a member of a yacht club in Massachusetts, would I be able to visit for a drink?

Yes. Call SBYC ahead. Most likely he/she will invite you to a club event, so you can meet other members. There is a waiting list for slips. The Harbor Master operates from the same location. Use 899 2nd St to navigate to the club's dedicated parking.

Where is the best place to park from 9am to 9pm toay

On weekend mornings, street parking on a meter is usually easy and cheap, though if it's going to be all day, idk if the meter will let you go that long. If you're sailing, you could see if the harbormaster will give you a parking pass for the day, I'm not sure what their policy is for those.
