Loved it, spectacular views but not much for seating places to hang out. There are multiple ways to get here, we hiked up the canyon trail approximately 1.2 miles from the Canyon Acres trailhead. Short but nice hike. 👍🏻👍🏻 We also hiked in from the West Ridge trail, an easier hike for sure!!

This was a hard hike allllll up hill. It was so rewarding! I did see a snake on the trail but just chilled and he slid on by. Definitely take water and sunscreen! It’s absolutely beautiful!!!! Mid morning and it was perfect!

If you come to laguna, don't leave without stopping by here. There is a magnificent ocean view. You can relax in the public park area, play tennis or basketball, ride a bike or go hiking if whatever you want. Also parking is free.

Not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't quite this. I was expecting spectacular views up the hike, but it was just a bunch of hills and the sky was a bit hazy. Maybe it would've looked more beautiful on a better day, I don't know. I thought the hike was alright. A lot easier than what I thought it would be. Sure, it's steep, but the ground is packed and there's no loose rock/sand you're fighting uphill. It is dog-friendly, which I like.

Hard to say on your questions. Keep an eye on the weather when it will be partly cloudy and go for the sunset. It's a big hiking park so it's never over crowded where you won't have a nice view.
It's open anytime. You just be careful and watch your step.
Not to my knowledge. The majority of the ground is natural dirt trails used by walkers, runners and bikers. Hope this helps.
